It's Worth CashW Clement Stone

I first learned about a Positive Mental Attitude in 1974 when I worked as a sales agent and later sales manager for Combined Insurance of America. The company was owned and founded by Mr. W. Clement  Stone, who also co-authored several books with Napoleon Hill author of  “Think and Grow Rich” and The Law of Success.  Mr. Stone’s business philosophy was to find and hire the best and inject them with the belief that we were all the  greatest salesmen in the world and we were positive we were successful. There were always many meetings that started with a song about “I feel happy…” and much positive recognition for those of us that excelled in our selling.

Og Mandino, author of The Greatest Salesman in the World and editor of Success Unlimited was also working for W. Clement Stone in keeping us motivated all the time.

Those were certainly fun days, but as I thought I was advancing my career I took a turn away from this philosophy and headed to corporate America for the next 3 decades. I did, however keep up with certain guru’s like Ziz Ziglar and Brian Tracey, but all the time working for Panasonic and the other companies concentrated with advancing to a higher position or title and making sure the numbers came in close to the projections. This was good as it did help me and my family not only survive, but live comfortably during this time.

About 5 years ago after several decades with Panasonic and another decade with a few other companies, I left corporate America to try to find some happiness and freedom. I’ve had several things I have tried and didn’t work out very well and I have had a few successes too. What I’m now finding is that it is simple to follow a few instructions and get not only success, but supreme happiness and the best part is that I am having fun while I’m doing this.

I would love to share my journey with you, and also share some opportunities too.
